Passwords and secrets are encrypted on your device before they reach us, so we can't read them.

We never keep your password itself, only a hash of it.

Two-step verification
Use an authenticator app, with backup codes in case you lose your phone.
Security alerts
We email you and notify you when there's a sign-in from a new device, or when your password, two-step verification or recovery email changes.
Your devices
See where you're signed in and sign out of any device. Unused sessions end after 30 days.
Leaked password check
New passwords are checked against known data breaches. Only part of a hash is sent, never the password.
Control for administrators
Organizations decide how their accounts and data are used, from the Admin console.
Manage people
Create, suspend and delete accounts, reset passwords and sign people out.
Audit log and alerts
See sign-ins with their IP address and device, sharing, administrator actions and the email log, and get alerted about security events.
Data export and retention
Export each person's mail and Drive files, and delete old mail automatically.
